Susan Huckle: Comedian, Author, and Conspiracy Humorist

Susan Huckle is a comedian and author of The Earth Is Flat?! And other things my mother told me. She grew up in an evangelical home, experienced peak purity culture. Later in life her parents began to believe conspiracy theories including a flat Earth. She tells her story with comedy, join and poignancy.

Susan Huckle is an actor in Los Angeles, but that wasn’t self-indulgent enough, so she wrote a memoir. She grew up in Santa Maria, CA, and earned her B.A. in Journalism and Dramatic Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a Master of Sustainable Tourism from Arizona State University. Her TV credits include Jane the Virgin, The Mindy Project, Nickelodeon shows, and hosting L.A. This Week for the city of L.A.
